On 17 May 2021, Doru Costache gave a keynote in the opening of ISSTA 2021 Conference: Pastoral Care and Mission in Diaspora.
The conference was the twentieth in the series International Symposia on Science, Theology and Art, organised by the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Alba Iulia, Romania, being held on 17-18 May 2021. Costache’s paper was titled “What Does It Mean to Minister to Multiethnic Communities?”
