On 6 July 2023, AIOCS launched the first conversation of Wagdy Samir and Doru Costache on “Orthodox Theologies of Divine Participation: Matta al-Miskīn and Dumitru Stăniloae.” This series focuses on the theology of holiness of the two great theologians, one Coptic Orthodox, the other Romanian Orthodox.
This first conversation introduces the speakers’ interest in the two modern Fathers and brings to the fore the main features of their theological background: scriptural wisdom, patristic tradition, liturgical experience, and ecumenical breadth.
