Protopresbyter Dr Doru Costache is a clergyman of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of Australia and New Zealand, ministering to Saint Gregory the Theologian’s Mission in Mona Vale NSW. Senior Lecturer in Patristic Studies at St Cyril’s Coptic Orthodox Theological College with the Sydney College of Divinity. Participant in the Science and Orthodoxy Around the World project, funded by grants from the Templeton World Charity Foundation and hosted by the National Hellenic Research Foundation, Athens (2016-2019). Honorary Associate of Department of Studies in Religion, the School of Letters, Art and Media, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the University of Sydney (2017-2019). Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Philosophy and Theology, the University of Notre Dame Australia, Sydney (2017-2019). Durham International Senior Research Fellow of Institute of Advanced Study, Durham University, Epiphany Term 2018. Coauthor of Dreams, Virtue and Divine Knowledge in Early Christian Egypt (Cambridge University Press, forthcoming).

Dr Jonathan Cole has a PhD in theology from Charles Sturt University (CSU), an MA specialising in Middle Eastern Studies from the Australian National University and a BA Hons in Hellenic Studies from La Trobe University. He is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Public and Contextual Theology, CSU and a contributing editor to The New Polis. He specialises in political theology, the thought of Christos Yannaras, contemporary Greek political and intellectual history and Orthodox theology more broadly. He speaks Greek and Arabic and also works as a translator (Greek to English).
